La Super-Rica Taqueria

We enjoyed our time at La Super Rica. We liked the tacos de adobado as well as chorizo tacos/quesadillas. The meat was the star of the show to us. I felt that it was really well made and the tortillas were also good. We also got the chile con queso which neither of us loved. Overall, our food was solid and I am glad we came here but I did feel that it was overhyped for what it was. Note- it is cash only.

This place is off-the-hook amazing. This was the highlight of our trip to Santa Barbara. It’s an absolute gem with the most incredible, authentic Mexican food. Casual, no fuss. Cash only!

I almost hesitate to tell you how great this place is because I don’t want it to get overrun! Everything about this place is 5 star excellent. The staff is so warm, wonderful and attentive to your needs, even when there is a line out the door behind you! The food is super fresh and delicious and arrived surprisingly quickly given how busy they were and everything looks like it is made to order. What a gem!

This place is a new fav. The tortillas are soooo yummy and the price is great. Sat outside with a beautiful view of the hills

La Super Rica is an absolute gem in Santa Barbara! During our six-day visit, we couldn’t resist coming back three times—it’s just that good. The food tastes like a homemade masterpiece, full of authentic, fresh flavors that you won’t find anywhere else. Truly a one-of-a-kind experience that we’ll be raving about for years!

Loved every dish we ordered! My favorite was Super-Rica Especial, but can't go wrong with any dish on the menu. Their horchata was great, too. It's a hole-in-the-wall restaurant, so the atmosphere isn't great, but you get your money's worth. Make sure to bring some cash!

It was the best Mexican food I ever had. No doubts about it. There’s a queue, it’s cash only but so worth it. I had the super rica especial, vegetable tamales and Roja and they were all tremendous and flavourful.
